The Lazy Horse Gymkhana Series

 

AR Riding and Training is excited to present the Lazy Horse Gymkhana Series that will be held at Sweeney Ridge Equestrian in Pacifica (formerly known as Park Pacifica).  We were inspired to put this event together in order to allow riders of all ages to participate in an event that is centered around having fun and gaining show experience in a supportive environment.  We will split riders into three divions: 12&under, 13-17, and 18+ with ribbons awarded to 1st-4th places in all divisions.

 

August patterns:
1. Single Stake
2. Simple Pole Bending
3. Bowtie Pokes
4. Big T
5. Figure 8 Flags
6. Figure 8 Cowhorse
7. Cloverleaf Barrels
8. Ribbon Race - run a pattern with a partner holding a 3 foot streamer.  Team with intace streamer and fastest                                 time wins.

 

Dress code: Boots, belt, and tucked in button-down shirt.  Helmets for all riders under age 18, no exceptions.

WHEN: July 26th, 9 am start time - show secretary open at 8.  Sign-ups are welcome on day of the event..
